And if you can’t access it or can’t afford it, or don’t want to invest in it, you can wash it. You can wash it with fruit and veggie washes, they have been shown to remove 96% of the Listen to these words, fungicides, rodenticides, herbicides, pesticides, we’ve got to get this stuff out of the things we’re putting in our body, we are killing ourselves. There, welcome to the feel better now podcast. I’m your host, Jackie balca. And for those around you. Just one small action step at a time. With so much love and gratitude to be your guide. Let’s get started. Jackie back, we ran a webinar during the week on gut health and the three things that may be sabotaging your performance. The response was overwhelming. We had so much fun, I’ve put the link in the show notes. And I promise you it will be a really valuable use of your time to learn this information. And so you can perform better. This excerpt is a section of the webinar that I think will blow your mind. So we’re popped in here for today’s episode, enjoy. Just eat real food. I want to demonstrate how important this is my passion for the children are the future. Anyone heard this acronym before just eat real food. There is a fantastic study. It’s a fertility study. So bear with me, if you’re listening to this, and if you are not looking to have children are not interested at all, it still relates to all of us, because it’s about people trying to have a healthy child. So there are things that we need to do. There’s an environment where we can create a life or we can not create a life. So there’s this fantastic study by the journal by JAMA, the Journal of American Medical Association, one of the most sophisticated medical journals in the world. They ran a very sophisticated study that was in this journal. And even the journal commented on how elegant the study was with such sophisticated biomarkers, they had four groups of women that were using assisted Fertility Centers. So they were going there to try to get pregnant for groups on the scale of eating lots and lots of fruit and veggies conventional. So going to say the supermarket or buying foods that were not sprayed for organic fruits and veggies on the scale to eating organic fruits and vegetables. So they compare the two groups on outer edge of the four groups, the group that were eating lots and lots of fruits and vegetables bought conventionally. So with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides rodenticides, to the group that were eating all organic fruits and veggies and both groups were eating loads of fruit and veggies, the group that were eating conventionally had a I want to get this right for you had an 18% they were 18% less likely to conceive 18% less likely to be successful. And here’s the kicker, the ones that were successful had a 26% less likely chance of delivering a live birth, a live birth. I mean, that is just it’s excruciating ly sad for me that we’re in this but I feel privileged now you know, to, to know this information because it’s really important that we remove toxins from our life. A detox is eating food, organic produce or spray free produce. And if you can’t access it or can’t afford it, or don’t want to invest in it, you can wash it, you can wash it with fruit and veggie washers. They have been shown to remove 96% of the Listen to these words. bung asides for dentist side, herbicide, pesticide, pesticides, we’ve got to get this stuff out of the things we’re putting in our body, we are killing ourselves. So just eat real food is more than just eat lots of fruit and vegetables. So here’s the first step. Wherever you are in your journey, there is hope. I want to make sure that I get you from where you are now to where you want to be the transformation. There’s always a next step for you. And that’s going to be different for all of us. Okay, 10 years ago, my next step was completely different to my next step now and I’m still taking steps if you can just go wheat free, dairy free, sugar free, and soy free. Soy is creating a host of issues with hormones without estrogen. We’re killing ourselves. If we can just remove those foods and don’t feel deprived. You’re just swapping them we live in a world now where there’s So much choice, so much options, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free soy free, you are going to feel better now how much better you feel you need to keep digging deeper. Another really beautiful tip that really has improved my health and the 1000s of people that I help is overnight fasting. So I specifically didn’t use the word intermittent, because I find that it kind of freaks people out. It’s like a bit scary, isn’t it talking about intermittent fasting, what that means is a break. And I know you’re all well, hopefully you’re sleeping. But we have as we sleep for a period of the time where you’re not eating, you’re not eating while you’re sleeping. And so that is intermittent fasting. Now what we want to do is to try and have that in a really supportive way for you when I brought in overnight fasting or longer overnight fast, and I moved from 12 Very slowly, up to 13 to 1415 to 16. And now I can go pretty easily up to 24. That doesn’t mean I do it all the time. It’s a very strategic implementation of overnight fasting. What happened was my bloating disappeared, my energy skyrocketed. And what was happening was I was slowly helping my body to be more metabolically efficient, really a lot easier to just to manage weight as well. But we are individual going from 10 hour overnight fast to 16 hour overnight bus is a huge shock to the body and it may not serve you fasting, if you’re still cycling, you’ve got the first half of your cycle, pre ovulation and the second half of your cycle post ovulation and fasting different times overnight also may be necessary. So it’s really important to listen to your body and work out what’s helping you and what’s not supporting you. That is again another conversation for a webinar as well. You don’t need to clock watch. Like if you wanted to eat at 12 and you really really feeling you know, maybe you’re getting a bit of rainfall, you’re finding it difficult to concentrate, and it’s 10am it’s time to eat. So we don’t need to put our body under undue stress for the sake of two hours. So it’s really about just having a really beautiful, innate natural approach to what’s working for you and what’s not.
